OUR TECHNOLOGY
Nowadays, Bagasse, residue from the sugar industry, is mainly used as a raw material for steam and electricity production. On the other hand, CBT has the idea to create value added products from bagasse. It uses new technology to transform the components of bagasse into higher value products.
We have adopted membrane technology in its separation and purification processes, which can reduce energy consumption by up to 50% compared to traditional evaporation processes. It can also make the resulting product higher purity and the water left over from the process can also be recycled.
